Why ASI?
Driven, not hauled. Documented, not guessed. Trusted, not new.
1. Decades in the Seattle auction circuit
ASI has operated in the Puget Sound area for decades, and over that time we’ve built working relationships with nearly every major auction house in the Seattle area. We don’t just know the addresses — we know the check-in procedures, the paperwork each location expects, the staff, and the quirks of every yard. That means fewer delays, fewer rejected drop-offs, and fewer surprises for you.
2. Drivers you can trust with the keys
Every driver on our team is experienced and vetted before they ever touch a customer vehicle. We don’t staff up with day labor for busy weeks — our drivers know how to inspect a vehicle properly, document its condition, and drive it the way they’d drive their own.
3. No trailers — every vehicle is driven, not hauled
We move vehicles by driving them directly, not by stacking them on a trailer. That means:
• No loading/unloading risk, no trailer damage, no waiting for a full load before departure
• Faster turnaround — a single car doesn’t have to wait for a trailer to fill up
• Lower risk of the cosmetic and mechanical damage that’s common with trailer transport
4. Full insurance coverage, on file and verifiable
ASI carries comprehensive commercial auto, garagekeepers, and umbrella liability coverage, including:
• Auto Liability: $2,000,000 combined single limit (any auto — owned, hired, and non-owned)
• Garagekeepers Liability: $2,000,000 liability / $120,000 physical damage, plus $2,000,000 uninsured motorist and $5,000 medical
• General Liability: $2,000,000 per occurrence / $4,000,000 general aggregate / $4,000,000 products-completed operations aggregate
• Workers’ Compensation: $1,000,000 per accident / per disease
• Umbrella/Excess Liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence / $1,000,000 aggregate, on top of the above
5. Flexible volume — from 1 car to 70 cars a day
Whether you need a single vehicle moved across town or a fleet relocated, we scale to fit. We handle:
• Single vehicles (1–10 cars) for dealer trades, repos, auction pickups, and customer deliveries
• High-volume moves of up to 70 vehicles per day, depending on distance and route
6. Same-day service when you need it
Plans change. Auctions run late. A dealer needs a car today. Our same-day dispatch means we can respond fast when timing is tight — without cutting corners on inspection or paperwork.
7. Technology built for transparency
From pickup to delivery, every detail — vehicle data, photos, signatures, location, and timing — is captured automatically and accurately, so there’s never a question about what happened to your vehicle or when.
• eBOL — your bill of lading, automatically, the moment delivery is complete
As soon as a vehicle is delivered, you receive a PDF Bill of Lading by email — no waiting, no follow-up calls.
Every detail on it comes from barcode scanning and NHTSA VIN lookups at pickup, not from a driver writing numbers down by hand.
That means no transcription errors, no mismatched VINs, no guesswork on vehicle details.
Digital signatures from both the release and receive points are captured and included, so the eBOL stands as a complete, accurate record of the handoff — automatically.
• Digital Inspection — proof, captured at the moment it happens
Every vehicle gets a pre-delivery and post-delivery inspection, done right on our drivers’ phones through the same app that generates your eBOL.
Each inspection photo is automatically geo-tagged and timestamped, so there’s a verified record of exactly where and when it was taken. The driver scans the vehicle’s VIN, which automatically matches the inspection to the correct eBOL — so when you need to check on a specific vehicle, you’re never digging through unsorted photos to find the right one.
When weather or lighting makes it hard to capture everything in a photo — heavy rain, harsh sunlight, a scratch that’s difficult to see in a frame — the driver leaves a voice memo describing the condition in detail.
Because the post-delivery inspection is geo-tagged at the drop-off location, it stands as proof that delivery was completed — even at locations without a formal acceptance or sign-off process.
• Customer Portal — answers, on demand
Need to know how many vehicles we moved for you last week, and where they went? Log into the customer portal and see it immediately — searchable by date, BOL number, or VIN.
If a dispute ever comes up with the receiving party about a vehicle’s condition, this is where you go to settle it — timestamped, located, and on file.
Need to check on a specific vehicle? Pull up its full inspection record — photos, voice memos, and GPS-tagged locations from pickup and delivery
The bottom line
ASI isn’t a broker, and we’re not a trailer company trying to fill capacity. We’re a dedicated drive-away transport partner with the local relationships, experienced people, and the systems to back it up — built for the Seattle auction and dealer network, and ready to scale with you.
